Porsche and GT4 Drives Fill Up

More GT4 Australia and Carrera Cup drives are being confirmed with Australians, Americans and more locked in for the 2026 seasons.

Jack Wallis will come back to GT4 Australia armed with a significant Ford Mustang assault.

Not only will he bring a Ford Mustang GT4 to the Silver Cup, but he will have American Ford Racing driver Sam Paley by his side.

Paley is from Kentucky and has raced in high level championships, including IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA Mustang Challenge and Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational.

“This is just a great opportunity. I’m very excited to be joining Jack, Adam, and Wallis Motorsport for the 2026 GT4 Monochrome Series in Australia this season,” Paley said.

“This new generation of Mustang GT4 is a phenomenal race car and has had massive global success in 2025. We will be looking to build on that success this year.

“Ford and Mustang have a huge following down in Australia, and I’m looking forward to growing my personal network, experience, and exposure down under.

“There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Ford Racing and its global mission. I’m honoured to represent America’s Race Team through the Ford Racing Driver Development Team.”

After a first glimpse of GT4 last year, where he scored five class podiums, Glenn Walker will return having made a big manufacturer switch.

Having raced a BMW M4 in 2025, he will drive a Ford Mustang GT4 as the “Blue Oval” continues to grow its significant presence on the grid.

“The switch to the Ford Mustang made sense for myself. I had my rookie year with Gomersall Motorsport last year in what was the older BMW M4 GT4 F82, which was an excellent car and one we learnt a lot from, but as a team, we talked it through and it made sense to standardise with the Mustang,” Walker said.

“We’ve now got a multi-car team, all running the same platform.

“This year is going to be a bit of a learning curve for me to get my head around the Mustang, but I’m super excited to be stepping into a current-generation car and getting back on track again at Phillip Island.”

Wallis endured an up and down 2025 campaign, but feels this will be a great opportunity.

“This is a really exciting step forward for my career. I’m proud to be teaming up with Sam Paley and continuing to race with our family team, Wallis Motorsport, for the 2026 Monochrome GT4 Series,” Wallis said.

“Having a driver of Sam’s calibre and international experience join the program is a huge opportunity, and I believe we can achieve some strong results together.

“Last season was a big year of learning and development for me, and my goal is to build on that progress, become more consistent, and keep pushing toward the front of the field.”

Jake Santalucia

In Carrera Cup, Jake Santalucia hopes to make a significant jump after being crowned last year’s Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia champion.

The 18-year-old has signed with Wall Racing after dominating the level below, winning the title by 40 points with seven wins under his belt.

“It’s really exciting to be stepping up to Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia with Wall Racing,” Santalucia said.

“It’s exciting to continue my Porsche journey that we started two years ago and be able to step into the ‘main game’ this year is a great opportunity.

“Before I even get behind the wheel I can feel all the experience and the approach Wall Racing have so it’s great to work with David Wall, David Fyfe and the team in Carrera Cup.

“It’s an exciting next step in the journey and I am thankful to David, the team, my family and all my supporters for allowing me to do it.”

Josh and Diesel Thomas.

After conquering Trans Am, TFH Racing has set its sights on the Carrera Cup as well.

Josh Thomas and Diesel Thomas will both drive in the series with a technical partnership with TekworkX Motorsport.

“Josh and Diesel are familiar faces within the TekworkX environment, having worked with us previously across Sprint Challenge and GT4 programs,” TekworkX Motorsport Team Principal Rob Woods said.

“They understand our systems, our expectations, and the level required to be competitive in Porsche one-make racing.”
