Ford Junior Paley Set For GT4 Australia Debut
Ford Racing Junior Driver Sam Paley is set to make his GT4 Australia debut this year with Ford customer team Wallis Motorsport.
The 23-year-old will compete in a Ford Mustang GT4 in the Silver Cup class, alongside Jack Wallis.
Paley, a podium finisher in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and at the Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitation last season, was part of the inaugural cohort of Ford’s Junior programme last year, and is remaining a member for 2026.
“This is just a great opportunity. I’m very excited to be joining Jack, Adam, and Wallis Motorsport for the 2026 GT4 Monochrome Series in Australia this season,” Paley said.
“This new generation of Mustang GT4 is a phenomenal race car and has had massive global success in 2025. We will be looking to build on that success this year.
“Ford and Mustang have a huge following down in Australia, and I’m looking forward to growing my personal network, experience, and exposure down under. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Ford Racing and its global mission. I’m honoured to represent America’s Race Team through the Ford Racing Driver Development Team.
“Jack is a very strong, up-and-coming young driver, and my goal is to use my existing knowledge and expertise to propel his development and success within motorsports. I’m eager to get going with Jack and strive toward some strong results this season with Wallis Motorsport.”
2026 is set to be Wallis’ first full season in GT4 Australia, after competing part-time last year with the family-run team. The 17-year-old had three different co-drivers across three events, including Ford Racing Junior Jenson Altzman at The Bend.
“Having a driver of Sam’s calibre and international experience join the program is a huge opportunity, and I believe we can achieve some strong results together,” Wallis said.
“Last season was a big year of learning and development for me, and my goal is to build on that progress, become more consistent, and keep pushing toward the front of the field.
“I’m really looking forward to working closely with Sam, continuing to grow as a driver, and chasing some great results with the whole crew this season. We’ve been putting a lot of work into our preparations, and I’m genuinely excited to start the year strong and see what we can achieve together.”
The 2026 Monochrome GT4 Australia season begins at Phillip Island on 27th to 29th March 2026.
