Zandvoort (NL), 21 September 2026 – TeamFloral’s strong run continued at Zandvoort, this time with a new driver pairing in the Ford Mustang GT4. Sam Paley shared the Mustang GT4 with 19-year-old Austrian Kiano Blum, who joined the team for the penultimate round of the season. During their first race weekend together and their Zandvoort debuts, both drivers quickly found the right rhythm. The weekend resulted in a fifth-place finish on Saturday and second place on Sunday.

New driver pairing with no previous Zandvoort experience

For the fifth round of the season, Sam Paley was joined by a new team-mate in TeamFloral’s Mustang GT4. The promising Austrian driver is competing in the ADAC GT Masters this season in the Mustang GT3 of the closely affiliated Haupt Racing Team and was quick to accept the opportunity to join TeamFloral at Zandvoort in the GT4 European Series. Like Paley, he is part of the Ford Racing Driver Development Team.

For the newcomer, the opening sessions among the Zandvoort dunes were an immediate introduction to the car, the circuit and the field. The demanding track was also completely new to Sam Paley. This put the pair at a disadvantage compared with much of the field, which could draw on experience from last season’s event.

Impressive races rewarded with fourth podium of the season

TeamFloral showed at Zandvoort just how much progress it had made over the course of the weekend. Starting ninth on the grid, Paley and Blum worked their way up to fifth in the opening race, which once again featured numerous incidents on track. In the second race, Blum started from the front row and brought the Mustang GT4 into the lead during his stint, before Paley converted that strong work into a second-place finish.

The podium was the result of a strong collective performance during a weekend of continuous learning, analysis and adjustment.

“Everyone worked particularly well together this weekend,” says team owner Jean-Marc Valckenaere. “Above all, it is great to see the steps we continue to make together with Ford Racing with the Mustang GT4. The car is getting stronger and is reaching the level where it belongs. To confirm that once again with a podium makes us particularly proud.”

Final round in Portimão

With plenty of valuable insight gained and a fourth consecutive podium weekend, TeamFloral can head into the season finale with confidence. It will take place in Portugal in a month’s time at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. After a season of consistent progress and strong results, TeamFloral has now established itself among the leading teams in the GT4 European Series.

The Belgian team is looking forward to bringing the season to a fitting close in Portimão together with Ford Racing.
